SLCCIA Hosts Successful Business Networking Lunch 2026

The Sierra Leone Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (SLCCIA) successfully hosted its Business Networking Lunch 2026 on Tuesday, 19th May 2026 at the New Brookfields Hotel, Freetown, under the theme: “Connect. Collaborate. Grow.”

The event brought together private sector leaders, government representatives, development partners, diplomats, entrepreneurs and stakeholders for an afternoon of networking, engagement and discussions centred on strengthening Sierra Leone’s business environment and promoting private sector growth.

The programme featured welcome remarks by the President of SLCCIA, networking sessions, sponsor recognition, media engagement and a keynote address delivered by the Honourable Minister of Trade and Industry, Alpha Sesay. Discussions during the event focused on trade opportunities, SME development, industrialisation, local content participation and strengthening collaboration between the public and private sectors.

One of the major highlights of the event was the signing of a Joint Communiqué between the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI), the Sierra Leone Manufacturers Association (SLMA), and SLCCIA, reaffirming a shared commitment towards advancing industrial growth, supporting local manufacturing and promoting the “Made in Sierra Leone” initiative.

The Chamber extends sincere appreciation to all sponsors, partners, exhibitors, stakeholders, members and guests whose support and participation contributed to the success of the event.

SLCCIA remains committed to fostering dialogue, strengthening partnerships and creating opportunities that support sustainable economic growth and private sector development in Sierra Leone.
