Chief Executive Officer

James S. Koroma was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Sierra Leone Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (SLCCIA) in May 2017 to help the Chamber achieve its strategic objectives.

He has more than 12 years’ experience as a senior management executive. James is an experienced entrepreneur consultant advising small and medium size companies in Sierra Leone, and founded the Business Services Company, an Entrepreneurship consultancy firm providing business services to both local and International organizations. He worked with many leading global companies across a broad spectrum of vertical industries, including Telecommunications, Manufacturing, Remittance, Mining and Renewable Energy.

James holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Economics(option) from Njala University College, University of Sierra Leone, and an MBA in Impact Entrepreneurship and Global business in partnership between Universita’ Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Milan(Italy) and the University of Makeni (Sierra Leone).

Gloria is a trained and well experienced Administrator with more than 15years of work experience working with vulnerable people and local communities. She has wealth of experience in teaching, human resource management and has used her experience to empower people through developing their capabilities, conducting needs assessment, mentoring, coaching as well as providing support to small and medium enterprises.

Gloria was appointed as Admin & Logistics Officer of the Sierra Leone Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture in 2012 with primary responsibility for people development and coordinating the Chambers’ events and activities.

Finance Officer

Mohamed Chernor Bah was appointed Finance Officer of Sierra Leone Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (SLCCIA) in April 2014 with principal responsibility of the day to day accounting and financial management of the Chamber.

Prior to his appointment, Mohamed worked as a Store Clerk at the People’s Enterprise Co. Ltd where he was responsible for auditing, managing stock controls with support in budget preparation and reporting on financial performance.

Mohamed has more than five (5) years worked experience. He is a Certified Accounting Technician from the Oxford University in UK, and currently pursuing the Association of Certified Chartered Accounting (ACCA) part B.
